How does solar work?

Sunlight hits the solar panels, and creates an electric field.
The electricity generated flows to the edge of the panel into a conductive wire. The conductive wire brings the electricity to the inverter, where it is transformed from DC electricity to AC, which is used to power buildings. Another wire transports the AC electricity from the inverter to the electric panel on the property (ACDB) which distributes the electricity throughout the building as needed.
Any electricity not needed upon generation flows through the utility meter and into the utility electrical grid.

Benefits for going Solar:

The biggest advantage of installing rooftop solar panels is that they offer cost savings on Electricity Bills with Low maintenance cost. Solar Panels harness sunlight to generate electricity thus, they pose fewer pollution risks to the environment in comparison to conventional sources of energy. The Solar panels, also known as photovoltaic or PV panels, are made to last more than 25 years.
Residential users and business owners can earn a passive income for the surplus energy generated by the system by sending the excess power generated to the utility grid and get compensated.

Our Solar Products

ON GRID – Grid Connected Solar System – 2KW to 1MW
On Grid is also known as Grid Interactive System as in the case when there is not enough sunlight to meet your energy consumption, the system runs on the power supplied by the KSEB grid. After having met your energy consumption, you can sell the excess power generated to KSEB. Batteries are not required for storage, hence there will be lesser cost and no recurring expenses. High operating efficiency (above 98%). The disadvantage is there will be No backup during power cuts
OFF GRID – Battery Connected Solar System – 1KW to 100KW
Off-grid solar system means the solar energy generated from the plant can be stored and used at night or when the power grid is down. Off-grid solar power plants are more useful in areas where the problem of power cut is severe and also in remote locations. Uninterrupted power supply. Voltage drops and fluctuations in the grid will not affect the performance of the appliances. The disadvantage is that there will be however, recurring expense of replacing batteries every 5 years and lower efficiency due to charging and discharging losses in battery.
HYBRID - Combination of On-Grid & Off Grid based Solar System – 1KW to 10KW
A hybrid system is when your solar panels remain connected to the grid's power lines and also have a backup battery system to store excess power to work during night or power failures. They come with a smart inverter that can transmit direct current (DC) power to and from your batteries, and provide alternating current (AC) power between the grid and your home as and when necessary. The hybrid inverter also serves as a battery charger, taking power from PV and/or an AC source to charge the batteries. The energy stored in the batteries can then be used later.
Micro Inverter – Micro Inverter Based Solar System – 1KW to 1MW
Microinverters operate independently, so each panel performs to its fullest. One shaded or dirty panel won't affect the rest of the system. Each micro-inverter is connected to a single solar panel for maximum control and reliability. If one panel is obstructed for any reason (due to shading from trees, leaves, dirt and cloudy days), only that panel’s energy production will be affected and the rest will stay online producing energy at their maximum capacity. Also, the microinverters can be tracked remotely allowing for issues to be pinpointed and potentially resolved without a site visit. Each Individual Panel can be tracked for Efficiency.
Solar PV Panels
DCR Panels (Made in India Panels), Poly Crystalline, Mono Crystalline, Poly PERC, Mono PERC, Mono PERC Half Cut. All the Panels go with a Lifespan warranty of 25 years and more. The technical difference between Poly and Mono Crystalline panels: Polycrystalline solar panels consist of several crystals of silicon melted together and are relatively economical. They appear in blue colour. Polycrystalline solar panels for home come in 40 watts to 330 watts. Also, the output efficiency of polycrystalline-based solar panels is typically 13-17% A monocrystalline PERC panel is a single-crystalline solar panel, appear black in colour, provides higher efficiency. Monocrystalline PERC panels require a smaller installation area, perform better under low light conditions, however cost a little more than polycrystalline panels.
Solar Batteries
Solar batteries are used to store solar energy and discharge power as and when needed. Solar batteries are used in OFF GRID solar system to store energy produced by Solar panels.
Solar UPS & Inverters
Purpose of a solar inverter is to convert the DC electricity flowing from your solar panels into usable AC power that your home appliances use. Off grid inverter ensures uninterrupted power supply all the time with the help of battery bank.
Solar Water Heaters
Solar water heater can usually save you money in the long run. Solar water heaters can reduce a significant portion of the conventional energy (natural gas, oil, and electricity), being used for heating water at homes and other commercial establishments. Solar water heater lasts much longer than standard gas or electric storage water heaters.
Solar Water Heaters
A charging station, also known as a charge point or electric vehicle supply equipment, is a piece of equipment that supplies electrical power for charging plug-in electric vehicles. There are two main types: AC charging stations and DC charging stations.
